Membership Meeting Reflections

We had a great Membership Meeting Monday night. We meet quarterly as a membership to worship, pray, discern, plan, prepare, strategize, celebrate, and seek after God.

This was a particularly significant membership meeting because of the big (and exciting) SEISMIC SHIFTS we are facing as a church... we laid out the next 6-12 months strategically, including pursuing two properties, launching a new campus, and refocusing our attention to reaching people far from God AND creating opportunities for people to grow as fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

For us, seeking growth and properties and new ventures is all about MISSION and reaching/loving our community for Christ. These are exciting days at St. Paul's and you will be hearing lots more in the coming days and weeks.

My only disappointment was the light turnout. Our membership meetings are key vision casting times, prayer times, and strategy times. We take membership very seriously at St. Paul's. We need to figure out a way to get a higher percentage of our members to come to meetings. I am open to suggestions, show shoot them my way...

One last note... we brought on some new members including Gordie Hatch. For those of you who know Gordie, you how cool that is!
