Change Your Diet

Last night during the Q & A at the six someone asked how do we keep our sexuality asleep in a sex-saturated culture? Good question. I’d say watch what you eat. Be careful of your media consumption.

The movies we watch, the tv shows we watch, the magazines we look at, the website we click we all choose for ourselves. No one is making us. So watch what you consume. If what you’re eating is making you sick, change your diet.

Control the factors you can control. And the truth is we have a lot of control over our media consumption.

Many years ago, I got rid of cable tv. I did it to gain time, to play sports instead of watching them. But I did not realize how much tv watching affected my thought life until I got rid of it.

I’ll say it again. If what you’re consuming is making you sick, change your diet.
