Speaking of Grace...

There has been a lot of talk about grace (and accusations of lacking grace) on the blog this week... so I offer you Brennan Manning on grace. I am thankful to be at a church where grace is a core value and part of our DNA. I am also thankful that the grace we proclaim at St. Paul's is a "costly grace"--a grace that transforms lives through the power of Jesus Christ. This week I particularly have appreciated and been reflecting on Vince's thoughts on grace applied as found in the model of Jesus in John 8. Powerful stuff.

Few authors I know capture the power grace better than Brennan Manning...
