text:_ Psalm 1 Reflections

I like this psalm, partly because of the poetry—it has many marks of Hebrew verse like parallelism, image, and simile—and partly because of the content.

I want to be a man who is blessed (happy, content), so I want to live by the law of God. I would like to do more “meditating,” but as I said in my sermon, the best ways I know to do that are by praying the Scripture aloud and by discussing it in a group.

That is communal meditation.
