Saturday Notes (9-13-08)

We have a great Sunday planned this week, so we just wanted to pass on a few quick reminders for you about things going on this weekend at St. Paul's:

>>> text:_ Series Continues
We will continue our text:_ series this week with a message called "LTNS". Once again you will be able to text message in during the message. Also, check out the blog for daily readings, devotionals, and answers to the questions you text in. Our blog is now up and running gain (and the comments feature is now working!) so check it out.

>>> 150 Day Challenge
We are making good progress on our 150 Day Challenge as we work to raise $150,000 in 150 Days. You can give online, by check ("Memo: 150 Days") or at the giving kiosk in our lobby. There will be Q&A sessions about the 150 Day Challenge after the 11:15AM and 6PM services this week. Next Sunday, 9/21, we will ask everyone to fill out a pledge card for the challenge. Your pledge will include anything you have given already. To make a gift now, go to stpaulswired.org/give.

>>> Small Group Sign-Ups
This Sunday will be the last time you can sign-up for Fall Small Groups in service. You can also sign-up online at stpaulswired.org/groupfinder. We have over 20 groups this Fall, so be sure to sign up for one this weekend! Most groups will begin this week or next. When you indicate interest in a group through GroupFinder or by filling out the form on Sunday, a small group host will contact you with details about time, location, etc.

>>> Liquid Launches
Our ministry for grades 7-10 will launch this Sunday! Liquid meets weekly concurrent with the 6PM service. This week, there will be a brief meeting for students and parents after the 6PM service in the Upper Cafe. We encourage all students in grades 7-10, and their parents, to attend.

>>> A Note to UCONN Students...
You may have noticed that the bus is pretty full at the 4PM service! There is plenty of room on the bus for the 6PM service. It would be HUGE help to us if you would consider moving from the 4PM to the 6PM service. Thanks!!!!

See you all Sunday!
