Praying Big Time!

Tonight was another powerful "Praying to Pentecost" night at St. Paul's --- and it rocked me!

We've been praying for the church, the community, the Coventry property project and the Manchester campus. It has been quite powerful.

Tonight was particularly powerful and the Holy Spirit was moving!

We brought out the schematic and site plans for the project and prayed through each page. That means we prayed for each phase of the project, every room in the proposed buildings, our worship space, offices, classrooms, cleaning closets and more. We also prayed for all the areas on the property including the fields, trails, parking lots, and more.

As we prayed I think each of got a clearer vision of what God is calling us to be and do over the next 30 years. And all I can say is that it is incredibly exciting.

In 30 years, by the way, I will be approaching my 65th birthday. My deepest prayer, hope and expectation is that I will still be pastoring at St. Paul's. I pray that God in His grace would grant me that privilege.
