Arts Crusade Project

Our team will be departing on 1/10/09. We will spend the next day enjoying Panama City with members of the other two teams on mission.

On Monday and Tuesday we will work with the children at Martin Luther School in Panama City. Wednesday will be a travel day. We will fly to the province of Chiriqui in northern Panama, a province bordering Costa Rica.

Here we will work with Pastor Carlos as we present Christ through the Arts to the people of this area. We intend to present elements of this year's Imagine Christmas performance, if possible. We will use other elements of the Creative Arts - puppetry, drama, drill, ventriloquism and face painting to minister in this setting. We may also present classes in basic puppet construction. Those participating may think of this along the lines of a VBS experience.

While in Chiriqui, we plan on staying in the homes of local residents. We will return to Panama City on Saturday, 1/17/09 and return home the following day.
